I fondly remember walking out to the parking lot after the last day of school. My time had begun, endless time it seemed. What happened? Softball, tball games, birthday parties, trips to the lake, family vacation...then BAM the 4th of July has already come and gone. The teacher side of me always feels obligated to feel the rush of anxiety on July 5th and continues until the start of the school year (ask my husband, he will agree)! The signs of a new school year are popping up all over the place and those who aren't fortunate to have the summers "off" like me LOVE rubbing it in! HMMMPH! So be it. Yes, it goes fast. Yes, I will miss my daily workout followed by a nice relaxing cup o' coffee, news, a little Facebooking and the 15 minutes of a quite house before anyone wakes up. Oh, and make up? What's that? Not to mention I can slick my hair back into the tiniest of pony tails so there is no need to do my hair! Once school starts I don't know how we do it- the chaos, oh my the chaos. Most days I don't know how we all manage to make it out the door, haven't forgotten anyone...yet.
But enough of this whining... summer is in full swing around here. So is "4H, gotta get my projects done for the fair season." My niece, Taylor wanted to take some photography to the fair. So she came over to learn the VERY basics (because that is what I know) on shooting in manual and the trick of editing (well, what I know-which again isn't much).*PLEASE NOTE* I'm not a photographer, I appreciate the professionals and will always use one to take our most precious family pictures (I call Michelle for that:

I like to call myself a Momtographer- I just like to take picture of my kids and hope to capture a few good things. This is what we captured this week. :)
MORE SUMMER
